ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE AND BBQ MAKES A HUGE SPLASH!
Each year Divers Institute of Technology opens the campus for an evening of fun and food! On Thursday, July 23rd, over 300 people attended DIT’s Annual BBQ and Open House. Overwhelmingly, those who attended were potential students and their families, seeking an opportunity to see first-hand why DIT has become known in the industry as the best place to get certified as a commercial diver.
Attendees had an opportunity to tour the facility, visit with instructors as well as current students, watch live in-water demonstrations, and learn what it takes to become a commercial diver. Also on hand to answer questions about the curriculum, and financial aid opportunities, were the DIT Admissions and Financial Aid representatives.
DIT hosted the event with their annual BBQ-style dinner. From hamburgers to hot dogs, to pulled pork sandwiches, everyone had a great time and walked away not only full – but with a greater look in to the world of commercial diving and how to get started on their career path at Divers Institute of Technology.
