Thank you for participating in the 12th Annual Maritime Career Day at The Maritime Event Center!
Your involvement made Career Day 2010 an educational, fun, and enriching experience for over 500 participants and helped to increase awareness about maritime careers. We hope you can share in the pride we feel in putting on such a unique event, the region’s only of its kind. The visiting vessels, “Discover Maritime Careers” speaker series, and demonstrations added variety and depth to the event, providing an opportunity for students to get excited and informed about a career in the maritime field.
This event would not be a success without the overwhelming support we receive from local maritime organizations. We were pleased with the number and variety of organizations that supported us this year and hope that the event was positive for you.
