As part of our commitment to career-long success, Divers Institute of Technology offers refresher courses to graduates free of charge.

Alumni are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to stay current with industry procedures, equipment, and safe diving practices. Continued education is especially vital when considering a major career change within the diving industry, where local legislation, as well as equipment and procedures, may be unfamiliar.

Requirements
To qualify for refresher courses, graduates must be current on their financial obligations to DIT. For courses that include diving, graduates must provide: a current dive physical, First Aid/CPR certification, and personal dive gear.

If you wish to use your own dive hat, permission must be obtained from the Director of Training prior to course start. The hat must be currently certified by an authorized facility as compliant with manufacturer specifications and maintenance, and will be checked by DIT diving supervisors for compatibility with our systems.

Availability
DIT courses begin once every four weeks. However, availability for Alumni is based on number of open seats. If current classes are full, there may be a waiting period.

How to Request a Refresher Course
Fill out the Refresher Training Request form, and submit to the Director of Training:

Please allow up to three weeks for processing. Once your request has been processed, you will be contacted with course schedules and availability.
