Applicants must possess a high school diploma or a recognized equivalent (GED).
DIT is authorized under Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. All students must be proficient in English speaking, reading and writing.
All students are required to complete a dive physical, performed by an UHMS/ADCI certified physician. Students are encouraged to obtain the physical prior to start date.
DIT recommends students contact the office of Dr. Edmond Kay, Bellevue HealthForce Partners Clinic at 425.468.6500, to schedule an appointment. Dr. Kay is a UHMS/ADCI certified physician, Director of Hyperbaric Medicine for HealthForce Partners, and acting Medical Director at DIT. If you’re unable to finalize the physical prior to start date, DIT Admissions will help you schedule the appointment.
The cost of the physical is $500.00. The cost includes the physical, 28 weeks of primary care while the student is actively enrolled at DIT, and a flu shot during flu season. In the event that a student receives a disqualifying physical AFTER being accepted and enrolled, any and all monies paid to DIT will be refunded, except for the $100 Application Fee.
