DIT welcomes guests and visitors during our business hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Classes and training exercises take place Monday through Thursday.
For potential applicants and their guests, we ask that you call to schedule an appointment with one of our qualified Admissions Representatives for a personalized tour of the campus.
To visit a currently enrolled student during training, please check in at reception for a Visitors Badge and directions, or an escort if required.
NOTE: ALL visitors and guests must have suitable shoes for walking on docks and barges (no open-toes, no high heels, no flip-flops).
Driving Directions
- From I-5, take Exit 169/North 45th Street, take a LEFT, heading West
- Turn LEFT onto Stone Way North
- Turn RIGHT onto North 35th Street
- Stay on North 35th Street, as it turns in to North 36th St., then in to Leary Avenue NW
- Turn LEFT onto 11th Avenue NW
- DIT is on your right, past the Ballard Fred Meyer store
Parking
Due to limited parking at DIT, visitors are authorized to park in the Fred Meyer store parking lot.
Public Transportation
